Excursion destinations

There are many exciting and wonderful destinations to visit. If you come by car, you can quickly take a road trip among the gems nearby. We list the ones we really like below:

VALLÅKRA

TOMATENS HUS
Visit a tomato farm with a farm shop between Glumslöv’s hills and Vallåkra’s valley..
There are freshly picked tomatoes directly from the greenhouse, fresh spices, chili, freshly harvested cucumber, tomato plants, freshly baked bread from the farm’s stone oven & homemade tomato delicacies..

MISS ALICES KROG & BUTIK
Right across the street from Tomatens hus, Miss Alice has a garden restaurant where you can eat their famous tomato pie under the fruit trees or in their greenhouse. They manufacture delicacies under their own brand Miss Alice and have a shop next to the restaurant with local and home-produced products.

WALLÅKRA STENKÄRLSFABRIK
Wallåkra Stoneware Factory is a modern company with cultural and historical roots. A remnant from the northwest Skåne craft and industrial era. The factory is beautifully nestled in the valley of the Råån River. Stone vessels, shiny brown pots and jugs are still made here from the local clay. Everything is turned by hand and then fired in the large coal-fired round oven. Try spinning, eat delicious food and/or enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds the factory.

HÖGANÄS

Magasin 36 and HÖGANÄS SALUHALL attract people from near and far.
Completely understandable, it’s a unique place. Because how many market halls with locally produced ingredients and a genuine feel can you find in this country? Which is next door to a microbrewery? With good restaurants, cafes and inspiring shops? A wonderful excursion destination this summer. We link to some of the various entrepreneurs well worth a visit. All on the same day!
For the beer lover; HÖGANÄS BRYGGERI
For those interested in shopping; BUTIK MAGASIN 36
v GARAGE BAR
For those who like affordable shopping; IITTALA OUTLET

KULLABERG

Kullaberg’s dramatic peninsula extends into the Öresund. Many people ask themselves if we are really in Skåne. The hill’s unique terrain makes the mountain one of Sweden’s most visited nature reserves and a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. Regardless of the weather and season, there is always something that attracts adventurers to Kullaberg..
For active experiences, we recommend you contact the guides at UPPLEV KULLABERG. They organize climbing, hiking, kayaking, etc. Or you can contact KULLABERGS GUIDERNA for an exciting cave tour. If riding an Icelandic horse is what appeals to you, then contact KULLABERGS ISLANDSHÄSTAR in Mölle to book a place on one of their popular horse riding tours in the area.

NIMIS

In the Kullaberg Nature Reserve, at the site of Håle stenar, lies the much-talked-about, criticized and beloved artwork Nimis. Creator Lars Vilks has built bridges, lookout towers & tunnels from driftwood, which have become a mighty wooden castle. Nimis is said to be over 100m long, 25m high and 160,000 nails have been used since its inception in 1980..
The authorities only became aware of the sculpture in 1982, and it has been classified as illegal construction and was about to be demolished. Nimis can be reached by going to Himmelstorpsgården’s café. Straight north, down towards the sea, there is a path marked with N on rocks and trees. A steep climb in beautiful nature. Or you can walk along the rocky beach in Arild until you see Landonia and the wooden castle towering up..
Nimis should be experienced, but today parts of the wooden structure are decaying, so you have to be a little careful.
