Our environmental work

OUR HOTEL IS GREEN KEY LABELED

You are staying at a hotel that is environmentally certified with Green Key. We work actively with environmental and sustainability issues through Green Key’s comprehensive criteria.

Our environmental commitments

Here are examples of our commitments:

• We use LED lighting, 100% renewable electricity and have procedures for reducing energy consumption.
• We separate and recycle our and our guests’ waste.
• We use 100% eco-labeled cleaning products for daily cleaning..
• We have taken initiatives to reduce water consumption.
• Our guests are offered organic foods at breakfast.
• We work to reduce food waste.
• We calculate our greenhouse gas emissions annually with the aim of reducing our climate impact.
• In our parking lot there are charging stations for charging electric cars.

Do you want to help us?

We hope you will help us reduce our environmental impact, please:

• Hang the door hanger out to avoid cleaning if you stay several nights.
• Leave recyclable packaging and deposit in the room and we will sort it for you.
• Use your towel for an extra day. Place the towel on the floor if you want a new one.
• We change your sheets after 4 nights. Please inform reception if you wish to change less frequently.
• Turn off lights, turn off electronics and unplug chargers.
• Avoid throwing away food by, for example: Don’t take more food than you can eat.
• Travel by public transport to and from our hotel.

About Green Key

Green Key is an international label in the hospitality industry and is available in over 60 countries. The label is run internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), which is supported by, among others, UNEP and UNWTO. All facilities undergo regular audits to ensure compliance with the criteria

In addition to Green Key, we have taken another step in our environmental work through the sustainability label “Kranmärkt”! This is a national sustainability label for businesses that choose tap water over bottled water. By only serving tap water, we contribute to fewer transports and less impact on our environment. Our water is healthy, sustainable and locally produced!
