Cold bathing all year round

Sundsgården Hotel and Conference is located in peaceful, beautiful nature with the sea as its neighbor. Here you can swim in the sea all year round, directly below the hotel or visit a cold bathhouse. Swimming culture has ancient roots in Helsingborg. For almost 150 years, there have been cold baths in the city. You have three cold bathhouses to choose from in our vicinity.

RÅÅBADEN

Rååbaden is located closest to Sundsgården, at Batteritorget in Råå. It is a cold bathhouse with a sauna and is run by the Rååbadarna association on behalf of the City of Helsingborg.

Rååbadarna is a non-profit association with approximately 1600 members who swim, sauna and enjoy Rååbadet. You are always welcome to try it a few times, but to swim regularly you must be a member of the Rååbadarna association. As a guest staying here for a week or two, you are of course welcome to use the swimming pool and sauna without being a member.

KALLIS

Helsingborg is a mecca for cold bathers with its completely cold bathhouses. People have been taking cold baths here for almost 150 years and the newly renovated Kallis, with its view of the Öresund, is Helsingborg’s oldest. Pålsjöbaden a few kilometers north is another popular cold bathhouse, built on poles a bit above the sea surface with small, yellow bath cabins close together.

PÅLSJÖBADEN

Pålsjöbaden is located along the beach promenade north of Gröningen in Helsingborg. Here you can enjoy sauna bathing, sunbathing and relaxing swims. At Pålsjöbaden there are separate nude baths and both wet and dry saunas. The bath also houses a glass-enclosed café in the middle of the bathhouse.
