Hike
Go hiking in our beautiful landscape. There are many beautiful hiking trails and paths in our immediate vicinity. Enjoy the Scanian nature on foot. Outstanding experiences are offered through the nature reserves, along the beautiful coast of Öresund with the small island of Ven in the background. You choose the length and difficulty level yourself.
SKÅNELEDEN
A section of the Skåneleden trail passes just outside Sundsgården. From us, south via Ramlösa to Landskrona, stage SL5 runs. On sandy paths, the edge of cliffs and on coastal roads you make your way south along the coast. From Glumslöv’s slopes you have a view of the entire Öresund and you pass through the charming fishing village of Ålabodarna. Read more about the stage here.
Or you can take the stage north through Helsingborg, via Höganäs, Kullaberg, Arild to Utvälinge. The trail is 70 km long and offers many varied experiences along the route. Read more about the Kulla Trail here.
GLUMSLÖVS BACKAR & HILLESHÖGS DALAR
is a hill just north of Landskrona. The hills are located partly in the parish of Glumslöv and partly in the parish of Härslöv. The community of Glumslöv is located near its highest point, which is just over 100 meters above sea level. Part of Glumslöv’s slopes that lead down to the sea are called Hilleshög’s valleys and are a nature reserve. The hills and a larger area of the cultivated landscape make up the Glumslöv nature conservation area. Here you are invited to high cliffs where you can look out over the coastal strip of Landskrona and enjoy the striking view of the sea and the island of Ven.
The valley of the Råån River
is located just south of Helsingborg and stretches along the Råån for approximately 5 km, between Råå and Gantofta. In the valley of the Råån River, you will find a mosaic-like cultural landscape with a variety of ancient remains – including burial mounds from the Bronze Age, the medieval church in Raus, stone bridges and an old plague cemetery. Birdlife is rich and, among other things, lesser woodpeckers, moorhens and swifts nest in the area. Here is also the lush deciduous forest reserve Borgen. There is also found Wallåkra Stenkärlsfabrik and a tavern with delicious food and a factory that is a living industrial monument dating back to 1864.
RAMLÖSA RAVINEN
Deep down in Ramlösaravinen you can follow the winding Lussebäcken road through the forest. Old beech forest grows here, but also oak, linden and hornbeam. One of the ravine’s two springs seeps through the bedrock..
On the heights above you can experience the park’s unusual trees, avenues, Brunnsepian-era wooden villas and Sweden’s largest wooden building, Brunnshotellet. The place has an exciting history as a home to bandits and soldiers, well-drinking nobility and refugees from World War II
